I wonder if the seat needs 'wobbling' backwards and forwards gently while pulling the level, just in case it is catching slightly?

You should be able to get that feature 'mapped' out by an engine tuner

Is there any fault codes in the ECM or any warning lamps?

It sounds like it could be a battery issue which is enough to start the engine but not enough maintain all systems until it generates a bit more stored energy. A new battery would more than likely resolve it but also check the battery leads and in particular the security and condition of the earth straps

Hi John Well done for purchasing a great vehicle, regardless of the amount of work that you are going to undertake on it. I believe you will have a superb car at the end of it and also you will know what has been done and what needs doing which takes away any uncertainty and doubt to reliability, etc. Plenty of information within these forums to get to know what you need and keep us updated on the progress, sounds like you are going to be busy for quite a while 🙂 Good to have you onboard!

Would look a lot better without the plate in the grille or alternatively a bit like the Alfa Romeo where is it mounted off center and looks great

Plenty of suppliers out there selling quality parts. Prices should be about similar but look for brands like Ferodo, Bendix, ATE and many other good brands. These usually cost more but are more reliable and durable for city driving

best to use dealer only to ensure hybrid system is also checked and calibrated with new battery

I think I would go for the oil change as this can degrade over time in the engine. I reckon any future buyer would consider that Coronavirus and lockdown periods where people weren't doing the mileage is a good reason for adapting service plans to take this into account

Old paint and new will look different until the new paint fades to blend in over time. Another option to consider is getting the mirror housings wrapped in any colour (including carbon) and considerably cheaper as well

Fitment should be the same like for like but obviously change as a pair due to increased output

Maybe consider that the driveshaft is slightly bent which would give a vibration from the imbalance.
