sorry about your bumper, I have a 04 330, looks like one piece to me. get some estimates, ask your Lexus dealer who they recommedned if they don't do there own body work. I had a dent fixed in my rear panel by Collex collision, did a great job, I did some body work a few years ago, and some people can blend in some bumper scratches, sometimes its better to replace the panel or bumper. Hope no one got hurt, cars are easier to fix then people. take your time and don't rush at the first estimate. Take care. Timothy

I have a 2004 es 330 which gets a beeping sound when traction control is working. Not all the time. Everthing seems to work fine, just wondering if anyone heard of this. thanks Timothy

great looking car. ver nice color. I have an 04 , blue onyx pearl, like your color better. You should be happy with the car, mine is great, any trans problem should go away after driving and putting some miles on it. A friend of mine has a Camary, rode in mine and said wow! I didn't check my tach at 100, watching the road, the harder I pushed it, the smoother the shifting was. Love to get it on a track just for fun. any Lexus driving schools? I know NASCAR has several. A Lexus driving school would be cool. Timothy

has anyone did a test on a 300 or 330 for speed and performance? I have read test in some magazines, but just your basic reviews, I know the 300/330 is not a race car, I had my 04 330 up to 100mph and was super smooth with 23000 miles on Dunlop 5000's. In Michigan you can't do that very long, roads are crap and I don't need a big ticket. Love to take it on big speedway like M.I.S. Just wondering. thanks Timothy

No offense taken, thanks for the input. I leased at Meade Lexus Lakeside Utica MI. they also have Meade Lexus of Southfield MI. great dealerships. I know the pros and cons of leasing, I might buy out the car for the reason I would know the car and whats been done to it. I go by the book on taking care of this car, all at the dealer. I leased a es 330. 3000 down 300 a month. I'm happy, cars great, might buy it when lease is up. Too much money to buy at that time. Better then driving GM junk, my Saturn VUE has been o.k. Dealer treats me great. I'm happy with it. Thats what matters. Timothy

If I do get a bra, it won't stay on all the time. Bike was in front of the garage, new house, different garage, things happen. Bikes go in the basement in the winter, the Saturn stays outside in the nice weather. Great car so far. Thanks. Timothy

Hello, my wife informed me that my bike jumped on top of the hood of my es330. She drove in the garage, and I guess the bike just decided to attack the car. Very mad. The hood can be saved, also having some chips and small dent in front fender fixed. Place called Autometric collosion doing the work. They do a lot of European, Asian cars, Car & Driver did a article on them. Anyone ever use a front bra on a 300 or 330? Michigan roads are designed to fall apart, so big gravel trains drive 80 m.p.h. and throw rocks and crap all over the place. Saw a "T" bra which came over the center of the hood. Too bad this happens, my dealer has been good so far and have a good history. Meade Lexus of Lakeside, Mich. Every dealer has its screw ups. People pay big bucks at dealers thinking they get better service, sometimes worse. When I hear this junk going on I keep the caution light on when I go to the dealer. Timothy

I run Mobil 89 octane in my 04 es 330, about every other tank I run 93. A GM tech. told me Mobil was about the best gas. Does Lexus say anything on which brand of gas to use? Timothy

Good info here. My 2004 es gets the air filter from the dealer. I'm sick of working on cars, let the dealer do it. If I pay more, oh well. My Lexus dealer has been very good so far. Very happy with the car and service. Timothy

hello just cleaned and conditioned my seats 04 es 330 with lexol, what a difference. car has 13000 miles, only driver seat is broke in, the conditoner softened everything up real nice. seemed like more dust then dirt, used this product on my cowboy boots and know people that use it on saddles, etc. better than new. How often should I condition the seats? Thanks. Timothy

[i'm 44, feel 54. Drive 04 es 330. best car I ever owned. Other car is 05 Saturn Vue. Wife and I switch every month. Went with the 330 because o price and front wheel drive, looked at ls 400 and gs 300. Glad I went with the 330. Timothy

hello My 04 es 330 did not want to start this morning. 12000 miles, 3/4 tank of gas, garage kept. Turned key over, started then stopped. Turned key again, would not fire, turned over fine, let it sit for less then a minute, started up, smelled gas no leaks under hood. After letting the car warm up for a few minutes, drove the car hard, almost full throttle, seems fine. Then daytime running light indicator goes off. All lights work, just the indicator not working. Could that be related? Thought maybe I hit the gas pedal when I got in the car, not sure. Seems fine now, been cold, about 5 degrees F. outside. 35 one day 5 the next. Have a good dealer, I'll call Mon. Any Ideas what's going on? Thanks, Timothy no indicator on es330, my goof. been driving new Saturn Vue which has indicator light. Reading in manual that if key ring is resting on key or another key with transponder is too close engine wont start. Hope thats all it is. Timothy

Hello mingf Check out tirerack.com for some good tire selections and reviews. I drive a 04 with the Dunlop 5000 tires, 11000 miles, and are pretty good. As far as wear, time will tell, get some flat spotting at times, but not as bad when new. The Continental Conti Premier Contact I hear are good. Have a good time shopping! Timothy

I drive a 04 es330 which had the shifting problem, but seemed to have gone away after putting on more miles. Car has 10800 on it now. I was told that the car has to "learn" the driving habits of the driver? I drove a gs300, 99, which shifted bad, 4th to 5th. If I had the car in 4th it drove great. Could having multiple drivers on the es add to this tranny problem? Dearler told me on the gs300, they would unhook the battery, reconnect, car would re-learn the new driver? Didn't buy the car. Has anyone tried this on the es problem? Sounds goofy. Thanks. Timothy
