    As a owner of a 04 RX330 w250 K miles we too didn't like feel , bulkness of the newer models and bought a 09 RX350 all wheel drive ! You won't be disappointed! Great ride and handling better traction rear camera ! The same interior with some upgrades! Alternatively you go with 09 RX 400 hybrid with extra tech feel and fast acceleration.

    Kyb OEM replacements are an excellent option (put on my O4 330) be sure to replace bushings mounts etc ! Or go to Lexus dealer and get actual units! Go local for install so if squeeks and creeks occur they can be addressed quickly!

    If its the same year and model its likely you can obtain a new shell and have a LS cut it to match the cuts on the car you retained. Programming cost depends the area you are in plus the distance the mobile LS must travel to. Figure >$125 - $200 or the new shell , cut and programmed. if its push start it may not work since those need to be unlock to program them.. Good Luck

    Go to "real" auto Locksmith ( LS). They are be able to program a valid lexus made Key. I own such a business and we do it all the time! If there are too many keys already programmed a real auto LS can wipe the computer clean ( just Like Clinton) and re program the keys you have.

    Concur. I would ask the shop if they buy & install them ! If theirs leak would they charge you to install them ? Find a shop that won't and stay away from Rock Auto!

    I doubt it since the warranty is for the parts ! You have me worried since I bought the same product from a different vendor ! Did the box say Made in Japan or China?

    In adding BT Audio streaming to our 09 Nav Rx350 we discovered we needed Y connection to both the disk/ tape player and the BT RX for some if the AC controls to work!

    Thanks super moderator! Simply stated the more technology higher probability of something to go wrong! Add to that the premium cost of the hybrid so unless you are driving alot alot the ROI isn't there! From what I've been told and listed posts the hybrid repairs are far higher in frequency for the 400 models vs the 330/350! Perhaps the word "issues" might have been too broad! Anyway I'm glad your happy with your 400H! Don't believe everything you read!

    When it comes to RX I like 04-09 330/350 non hybrid all wheel drive ! Hybrids have issues! Had the opportunity to buy 2011newer style wife loves the arm rest but design changed! Too stodgy and big for her! 04-09 very reliable ! 200k miles on 04 and 100k on 09 no repairs just maintenance! Good luck

    There are two com links to the car ! One for the the remote and the other to the engine which is called a transponder! You cannot program the key to car with those instructions it will not ! ! You need to interface with OBD2 port! Good luck

    Ebay is not always a trusted source! The key must be programmed to the vehicle ECU! I would get a qualified auto Locksmith to come to your home to cut and program the key! $250 for Lexus key I s not unreasonable!

    I own a LS company ! You need to go reputable LS who specializes in auto key makes! Depending on the software and key used there may be add key function! Otherwise the immobilizer needs to be reset and all keys present! $150 $180 a fair price

    Never use graphite only silicone type on the key! Graphite will gum up and wear wafers faster!

    Determine, what are your needs now and in the future. SUV has more utility..space. Sedan more fun if space is enough go with it..

    Comment check the weight rating of the passenger tires SUV much heavier especially 4 wheel drive! My experience withtwo brands Michelin and Bridgwstone Bridgestone Alenza Plus nearly as Quiet and comfortable as Michelin at $150 USD savings

    My 04 Lexus is good shape but recently the manual hatch release stopped working while the automated power release on the fob is fine. Now the automatic release is burning up fuses and stopped working as well . Any idea what to do? Is this a short ? Is there a mechanical release?

    Don't buy eBay unless it Lexus brand the Chinese stuff is junk ! if you Pay the $75 for a shell it should include cutting the HS blade! You can't fix it yourself without going to a reputable locksmith or dealer!$ 245 is a more than fair for a new key ! BMW owners pay $140 more! Owner of 2 RXs

    My 330 does the same thing periodically . Im 50K miles past you so no its not on the brink...Read somewhere its inherent. Have a good mechanic clear the service codes

    2009 Oil pan gasket replacement required special Lexus sealant material and time to dry. you need a lift... local shop repaired mine <$100.

    Neya, I own the same car 2 wheel drive type and have 188000 miles and climb up and down 1000 ft grade every day! No tranny problems! Get a 2nd opinion from an independent shop that has a good reputation and that specializes in Lexus! I think at 110K miles there is 100k left to go as a minimum! These were assembled in Japan!
