Yea, I was toying around with the 05 Nav yesterday and I like the what they did to the colors and pictures on the screen---Looks a little better to me than 04! I wish someone would buy the updated Nav disc and see if it changes the display to look like the 05's---ANY TAKERS? You notice it says the database wil be Vers-1 (Not 3.2 or something) I tried the voice rec and it seemed like a pain in the butt--didnt fully reconize everything I was saying---but Im sure you have to give it specific commands for it to understand. Didnt have the owners manual to look at.

Remember also that all the doors have to be unlocked for the power hatch to open, at least when using the key fob!

All this talk about 330's being crap in the snow is hard to believe! I will know very soon if its a POS! We have already had a quick 6 inch dump a week ago and it seemed to do very well, but when the snow hits and stays Im going to flog the crap out of it and report back. I have a 99 4-Runner I can compare it too. The first big and lasting snowfall Im going into an empy parking lot and get to know it a little better first--I really want to know how the VSC works and all and how everything reacts. Funny though the wife says why you have to do that???? Learning the car baby......also some nice play time:) Didnt tell her that though

so what is the reason for this, in your opinion, because i am going through that exact problem and i only have 678 miles on it. ← Mine does the exact same thing....I have 1200 on it now. Dont really like it, but Ill get used to it until they fix it----are they going to fix it

Yep, just throw a bottle of injector cleaner in with a tank of gas! But I would go with a littel better stuff than walmart! The stuff Toyota uses and recommends when they do the full cleaning of injectors is a product called BG44k, excellant stuff! Of course they run it through a special machine hooked to your fuel rail but we can buy it too!!! You can get it right at the toyota/Lexus parts counter and just pour it in the gas tank---very powerful stuff and does a great job of cleaning out carbon deposits on your valves as well.

I dont know but my Auto wipers are perfect....the last few days of Rain/ Snow/ Sleet and my wipers have been on Auto and its a dream---best Auto feature to date!!

Funny, My auto wipers work EXcellant--best thing since sliced bread, works perfect for me! I love em.......

Lets see if I can explain this: Seems like only taking a right hand turn (not a level turn) but a turn as when one side (right) of the rear end will pitch up in the air and I hear this distinct thump as something sliding to one side and a thud?? You have to be going like 10-20Mph. I thought that cant be normal but when I took the loaner 330 out I went right to that one spot and it does the same thing---weird! All I can think of is the shock or something is toping out??? any clues Mine has the performance Package(air suspen) the loaner Reguar Suspension

Well I had my 30 day service check done. I already had the latest update for tranny issue, and th etech told me that Lexus is still aware of te problem and they are working another tranny update??? I guess we will see when it happends Also asked to adjust my headlights as they seem a little low--said it was in spec! Guess I will do it myself :P Had a few C-BEST changes--all is good now

Would it be safe to say if I bought my 330 in August 04 that I would have the latest tranny update?? I know it hasnt sit on the lot for very long

Seems like that Lexus service center Sucks!! Waiting for that long is rediculous, Im in/out in a matter of minutes. I would definatly give them terrible feedback and complain some more FOr them to dimiss the tranny, I would have thought they would have looked to see what ecm firmware was in there at least and if it wasnt the latest to update it anyway! Sometimes you just have to be very DIRECT with people and always I WILL talk to the mechanic that will do the work se he fully understands what Im wanting! I would give your other Lexus dealers a shot too. Sorry about your luck I will give an update when I get mine back Monday and let you know what happened.

My Lexus dealer in Anchorage has 2 or 3 lexus to loan you, but if they have a few more than usual service repairs going on that day, you will get stuck with some other vehicle? I always just be the first in line in the morning...like Monday when I go Ill be there 30 minutes prior to opening just to get me another Lexus! Ill just browse the lots till they open Rhody, Cant wait to see what they did to your tranny and if you can notice any differance! Get all the info you can out of the Mechanic that did the work.....

Plese find out if your tranny required an update or not and if it did, how does it feel now? Can you feel any differance in it! But make sure they did put an uodatd program in there. Thanks Mine goes in for the 30-Day check Monday! Not sure if Im going to ask him to put the latest update or not in it, my tranny seems ok But I do feel the lag at times everyone is talking about........... :cries:

Im almost 99% positive you Cannot have the ML radio with the Performance Package/Navi, from what I hear the upgraded radio is not that much better than stock...cant really say for myself as I have never heard the ML. You can get the P.P with Navi all day long....Just no ML in all that mix

Thats harsh words for such a fine product in my opinion!! I just dont see the problems you are experiencing? My 04 330 tranny seems just fine and dont know what you guys are feeling??? I sure hope it stays that way. As far as Lexus putting this so called problem (Im sure some of you do have a problem) to the back burner, I just cant believe that since they have a top notch reputation to hold. Can someone explain exactly what these 04 trannies are doing wrong? Yes I feel a Little lag from takeoff, but I believe thats from the throttle by wire design. Do the 03 and 04 trannies have the SAME problem? These cant be the same trannies because the 04's have the 5-speed auto......

No need to order any, go to your local walmart or any auto parts store....pepboys, autozone, schucks ect...... $40 bucks a pair (Silverstars are a great improvement)

You would hope they are the same build quality and I would see no reason the quality would slack off being built in Canada. Yes the 18's on the performance package you get the graphite polished rims---very nice looking B) The regular 18's you get the silver finished rims I love my P.F!!
