yeah Lexus "diagnosed" the issue. but I also felt like the dude was bull*BLEEP*ting his way out of the problem. he just kept contradicting himself. I didn't want to waste my time. I don't think it's he bulb either. could it be the sensor? guys, any help?

Hello friends, Question. HID lights: I've recently been experiencing some difficulties with my headlights. once in a while, night time, either one of the headlights, left of right, would all of a sudden turn off. but after pulling to the side of the road and turning the lights from auto to off, both headlight turns back on. is that weird or is it just my headlight are going out. keep in mind that my is350 is a 07 and she's got around 55K in her. so is this about the time to change the bulb? is it an electrical or bulb issue? if its the bulb, wouldn't it just turn off completely and never turn back on? these things are quite expensive, they are quoting me $420 for everything, bulbs and labor. any ideas? thanks cj

Just got me an '07 IS350 3 months back (used) about the same amount and mileage you're looking for. I know this probably won't answer any of your questions, but i just wanted to let you know that I am very happy with it and will not get any other car but the IS350! I love my car and I'm sure you will too, if you do decide to get one.

You will find there is a toggle switch to the right of the steering column labeled "ECT" with "Power" being the top option and "Snow" being the bottom option. As for a more detailed explanation of what this switch does I'll leave it to the pros on here to explain it as I'm pretty new too. got em!!! and yes total difference! not a huge difference on torque but you can tell. thanks

I'm not exactly sure if anyone's done this before, i surely have not. I was wondering if it's cool to paint the factory wheels black? would it damage anything? would it still be balanced? would the weight of the wheels change a lot? is this not recommendable? I love my wheels just dont like the color of it, i've always liked gun metal or black wheels or rims. I have a cousin who did the same with his gold STI wheels and it looks great, he's not had problems with it. we know a guy who can dip the wheels and oven them. what do you guys suggests? thanks i want it to look like the pic attached.

So, I met with Toby this past weekend on my way to Louisiana to visit some friends. It took me no more than 10 minutes to get everything in and out of the door. He had prepared everything that I needed way before I came in to see him. thanks bartkat, but i think i'll try to do more research into it. actually my brother is gonna go ahead and do the xzilon on his Corvette, so atleast i have a guinea pig.

Has anyone applied the zylon stuff to their cars? is it a good idea? and how much does it cost?

I'm not sure if you have already done a tire replacement through this tire-package deal or not but i would double check with them how it actually works if its really lifetime free tires? read your contract i guess. I had a camry and got the same deal with toyota couple of years ago and they did wait till the tires are completely bald even though discountires and NTB said it's time to be replaced. anyways, the time came and my tires were completely bald and they finally decided to replace it for me. heres the catch, they were only going to pay for a certain amount of the tire cost and not only that, i had to pay for the taxes myself! it was pretty dissapointing :( i guess it was my fault for not reading the fine lines of the contract. just an FYI, i hope your Lexus dealership is not the same as my experience.

Welcome Andy! Bulb? '08 ?? Don't worry about it! You're under warranty, unless youve managed to rack up some serious mileage. So when you take it in, you can ask how it's done, in case there's a next time. Finally!! After burned out couple fuses, I got a pair of LED for my licence plate!! I will post pix tonight! anybody knows how to replace the bulb itself? instructions?
