Yeah, I know, but this forum is what guided me into my old profession (auto tech). I mean, I struggled to change my own oil a few years back and now I'm an ASE certified tech. Knowlegde not shared...is knowledge wasted.

Traction is the key to great et's!! I'm sand bagging right now, to keep the tires from spinning too much. Laying down the power is one thing but spinning the tires is so much fun, huh? haha.

There are 2 sensors pre-cat, which one did you replace?
-
Why are you assuming that your spark is weak?
-
It's hard to tell if it's bad or not, unless it's making weird sounds.

My car actually reaches full spool at 2500 RPM's and can lay down rubber through 4th gear, not to mention 15' burn outs :D . What size tires are you running in the back? Is it a staggered set-up? I'm running a staggered 285/245.

Yes, that's an OEM belt.

It depends, did he replace the water pump at the same time?

You can't see my signature? But anyways, it's a '98 528i sitting on Kumho ASX tires right now. I also have a set of Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires that I use in good weather.
Here ya go (just in case you can't see my signature for some reason) :

I actually got pretty low rates, even though this is my first home. I guess the market being at a standstill kind of helped me out.

Maybe I could give you a few car lengths. I'll hit you up the next time that I'm down there.
Hey kavvick, what's the deal with your turbo project?

Get the engine to normal operating temperature. This can be achieved on a cold engine by holding the RPM's steady for 3-5 minutes @ 2500-3000 RPM's.
-
Because you will be!!!
-
Ohhhh haha....took me awhile to figure out what you were saying. LOL...I felt like a blonde for a minute.

LOC is the best....period. I don't even own a Lexus anymore and I'm still on here.
-
I'm sure that your friend would be willing to give you a dab of it, for a poor man. ;)
-
So is it a gurgling sound or a knock? Does it seem to be coming from the engine compartment, cabin or rear end?
-
Polishing your rims with a dremel would be a better option.

You might want to consider having a shop do the diagnostic. I'd be more than happy to help you out but a remote diagnostic is sometimes impossible.
-
Actually, get your engine as hot as you can because the chances of an engine hydro-locking is more likely when cooler.
