  2. We have a 2008 lexus hybrid 400h and it has 257,000 miles and still runs great! We have had to put a little money it as far as new control arms, and alignment etc. She is a great car and I hope she lasts a lot longer!

  6. Ok so I figured out what the problem was. The adjuster bolt is actually seized in the pinch block. This is why I couldn’t lower the alternator enough. I ended up completely removing the lock bolt to get the alternator out, so I could get a look at it. Right now I have the car running with the alternator held in place only by the top mounting bolt being tight, hehe. I need to get a new pinch bolt, adjuster bolt, and pinch block, now…

  8. What year is your RX 350? By the way, I've found that Apple is seldom "state of the art". They still do not have an intelligent stylus. and their photo abilities are almost always a year behind that of Samsung. Perhaps it's good that Toyota/Lexus does not imitate Apple.😏

  9. Thanks! I have done reprogrammed the windows for sure. I'm going to start looking at a junkyard, but it'd be awesome to find an aftermarket.

  10. When this light comes on, it’s important to get your vehicle inspected by a professional as soon as possible to prevent any potential damage. It’s hard to say exactly what the issue is without a proper diagnosis. Your Lexus dealer or a trusted mechanic should be able to read the specific error code from the OBD system and determine the exact cause of the problem. That being said, I should also advise you to check or have checked your battery. Sometimes a failing battery or even a cell with no visible liquid in it can cause very strange warning lights to illuminate.

  11. Sounds like might be a brake light switch that needs adjusting. Do you brake lights also wait until you press hard to come on?

  12. Since Lexus has made it's customer service form so cumbersome, I have reported the key fob issue to NHTSA. On the Lexus app, the 2nd Key Program Campaign is not even listed (23LJ01). The dealership cannot provide a clear answer on when this will be fixed. For my wife and me, both 70 years young (I am a disabled Army veteran), this is a potential safety and security concern.

  13. You help your way, I will help my way. If you check my posts on here you will find all of them are technical and helping answer other people's questions. The vast majority, like this question, are questions posted by first post members, who ask one question, get the answer they need, never come back to even bother to say thanks, let alone add any value to the group later on. If you don't think my answers add value, feel free to put me on ignore but don't tell me how I need to help.

  14. Typical, new member, one post, never comes back, no thank you for the info. Pretty common pattern on this and other car forums. They wonder why newbies have a hard time getting an answer.

  15. Hi all, I wanted to share with my modified 2004 RX330. It has a Northwoods 2 inch strut spacer lift 245/65/17 Yokohama Geolander At tires (No Rub) Moto metal wheels and a cargo basket. Recently I custom fabricated a front Prerunner bar. I have been modifying the early year RX 330, 350 and highlander platform for the last 15 years. If you have any questions or comments let me know.

  16. I just hit the rocker switch on the drivers door (I never take the fob out of my pocket). Another option is to hit the button on the exterior door handle. And, it's not possible to lock the fob inside the car....if you attempt to lock the door, you get a long beeeeep and the door remains unlocked. You can however lock the fob inside the trunk. But since it's within close proximity to the car, you can unlock the truck with the exterior trunk button and get the fob out. Hope that helps.

  17. Same here. I just bought a new RX-350 and they only gave me one key. They are supposed to send me a letter regarding the 2nd key. Did you get your 2nd key? How long did it take?
