No need to fear damage to car. But if you want the car to perform as designed and the rear tires to wear somewhat longer, the correct sizing is preferred. Glad the tire dealer came to a reasonable solution, without high additional cost for you. Thanks for letting us know outcome.1 point

Do you notice any driving issues? Poor shifting or failure to engage a certain gear. Its a tad suspicious that only the CEL is lit but you aren't complaining of other problems. Maybe just reset (or ask them to) the light and see if it returns. Also ask them what code was found (the code number) and someone on this forum could comment if it seems a logical error.1 point
