Auto Leveling?

Gents, i am baffled.

 

every time i measure my car's height at all 4 corners it is different. is the air suspension auto leveling?

is it weight distribution?

My car is a 1997 Celsior Type C.

and has the aftermarket height controller. otherwise stock.

plan to get it on a lift with some soapy water this week. but figured somebody would already have the answers.

any ideas?

How old are the bags? It's probably a sign that there's a leak.

i got it roadworthy. and have plates.

 

but the question lingers........  is the height i am measuring the car level, with each wheel at a different load?

 

new shoes tomorrow.....

 

 

not sure about a leak as of now.. it seems like a regulator.

i'd rather keep the air if i can. the car is otherwise a dream to drive.

Consider measuring between two days where you do not drive the car.  Measurement should be the same.  If not, I'd wager it will be lower with the second reading due to a leak.  If the reading is the same, then it's simply adjusting for proper damping for road and load conditions (like filling up the fuel tank with 100 pounds of fuel).

Put is on a known very flat plate / surface, cycle the ride height up and down. Leave it running to check the heights. It can be the height adjustment sensors if it constantly

is off in the same amount corner to corner.  And simply lubing them could correct the problem.
