Mylexus2001 Posted August 9, 2016 Share Posted August 9, 2016 I parked my car in the garage and this morning I went to start it and the lights turn in radio and all but the car doesn't start or attempt to. sha4000 Posted August 9, 2016 Share Posted August 9, 2016 I would first check the battery cables to make sure they are not loose and there's no corrosion on them. TrevC Posted August 10, 2016 Share Posted August 10, 2016 If you turn the headlamps on and turn the ignition to start position...do the lights dim down? If so, the starter is taking a current draw, meaning the battery is providing power to the starter but the solenoid is faulty. If the lights do not dim, then the starter is not taking a current draw and there is a problem in the circuit to the starter...ignition, immobiliser, etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
