Will Lexus Support The Android Auto Application?

I am the owner of a 2014 ES300h and want to post the following information and request comments & discussion.

Ever hear of ANDROID AUTO?

ANDROID AUTO is a new Smart phone application coming to automobiles. Some 2016 models will come factory installed, maybe some 2015 models. Here are some Android Auto web links:

I hope you will appreciate the advantages of Android Auto after you review the articles. Full disclosure – I am an individual and have NO connection with Google, Lexus, Android Central
or Android.com.

The above is the “Good News” IF you have the right car and an Android phone with Android 5 operating system (“lollipop”). I have a Verizon Galaxy 3S phone that is just about ready for an upgrade and I have a Lexus 2014 ES300h. I can upgrade the phone to the Galaxy 5S or 6S, but
will Lexus upgrade the 2014- 2015 models for Android Auto? Will Lexus install Android Auto on the 2016 models?

Trouble is, I can find no information from Lexus mentioning Android Auto !! One of the few times
Google search has come up empty.

Does anyone have any information about Lexus and Android Auto? Hopefully someone from Lexus will respond with a posting saying what plans (if any) Lexus has for Android Auto.

I will also post this request in the General Chat forum.

Reading through the entire post, and the number and names of links, It is spam in that he directs anyone to try this supplies and so on. To me, there is too much focus on what he can do.
