I have a 96 ES300 with 123k and it runs perfectly. The other night I was driving over railroad tracks with my gas pretty much on E, and the CEL came on after I went over them. I called a friend of the family who is a mechanic and he asked me how fast I was going, and how much gas I had. He said that the engine could've possibly pulled air in and thought it was out of gas or something making the CEL come in. He told me to unhook the battery and then hook it back up and see if it goes off. It worked, but today it came back on. I parked it and it wasn't on, but when I left and started the car it was on. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

Best thing is just to get the codes read from any shop that does it... Youll have a clear idea that way....
