98 Sc300 Step On Peddle No Engine Rev

ok so i have a 98 SC300. at the stop light i hit the gas and the car did nothing. checked the throttle cable and its working fine. put it on the scanner and got p1120 throttle positioning sensor. so i changed it. the car ran fine for about 20 mins. then bang same thing....

you step on the gas and nothing happens, it doesnt rev the rpms do not come up even a little. nothing happens, if i turn the car on and off a few times stepping on the gas then it goes for a few mins but then it happens all over agian...

i have heard of the throttle body getting gummed up but i put TB cleaner in it and no change.

any help will be wonderfull thanks so much.

oh i forgot to say that the idle is completely fine and runs smooth.....
