rvnlt Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 I will try to explain this the best I can. 94 LS400. All Services performed in Last year except for plugs and wires. This includes all Fluid Changes. Car Drives beautifully except for when accelerating sometimes i get a slight hesitation or jerk. This is not the transmission slipping or the transmission at all I don't think. The RPMS stay the same and do not flare. If i really Hammer on it the hesitation or jerk is more pronounced and happens a little more. It is almost like it is gasping for air or something. ANY IDEAS would be greatly appreciated. 1994 LS 400 w/K & N Air Filter
UCF3 Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 Is your car jerking when at idle as well? If it doesn't, sitting in neutral, rev the engine and see if it jerks. Also, if it happens at a certain speed, you should consider cleaning your throttle body, and your fuel injection. Also, check your fuel filter. Sometimes they get clogged.
silvermate Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 i had that same type of problem on my LS some time ago i did i thorogh cleaning of the throttle body and added some injector cleaner PROBLEM SOLVED!! :D so do just like UCF3 said, thats great advice ;)

93LSOwner Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 You know, just about every answer to any engine problems lately have been, "clean the Throttle Body." :D
