Headlight Cleaning

Any suggestions for cleaning the fog and haze off the headlihgt lights on a '03? They are rather filthy from sitting outside for three years.

Head to your local auto parts store and see what they have. A number of companies offer headlight lens cleaning kits and most seem to do the job. Most involve sanding or buffing the crud away before applying one or more chemicals that restore the lenses and keep it from fogging up again - at least for a while. I have been refinishing my headlights about every two years with a Crystal View kit. The kits from 3M work at least as well ... maybe better from reports on forums. I have the turtle wax kit. It worked well. Could not see the reflector at all inside due to the "yellow" oxidized plastic. Took about 20min and back to new look.
