Dear fellow ES300 Owners, does anyone know what is the Record for the No of miles on an ES300? My 98 ES300 has 172K on it and is still going strong. Only thing wrong is a little oil drip.

I just sold my 00 with 270,000 miles. Only repairs done were a replaced knock sensor early on and a rear wheel bearing. Still ran great. I'm sure someone has me beat on mileage though...

I have a 98 ES300 and currently have 248,000 on it. Mine is a daily driver, and I drive approximately 95 miles round trip per day.

Dear Backwoods Lex, outstanding. Did you have the timing belt regularly replaced? I own a 98 ES300 and I just bought a 2001 ES300 with 77K on it, so now I have two! JC

Dear Chared, great no of miles. I am in late 60s so it looks like the ES will be the last car I own. JC

Just bought a 95 with 242k miles on it. It is not running like a champ, but it is running. What kind of engine repairs are common for our 95s LexMob?

Dear Fellow Lexus ES300 owners, at 204,000 miles, I had to have the Power Steering High pressure hose replaced on my 98 Lexus ES300 for $360, including the part.  One of the repairmen that gave an estimate told me that it is a very common repair for the Toyota 3 liter V6 engine.
