Am I Nuts?

So I went to the Lexus home page and registered as an owner of a 98 GS300. It tells me that I have a four speed auto transmission.

I must be wrong thinking I have a five speed. Can I be that wrong?

I am pretty sure it is a four speed like my 97 SC.

first gen(93-97 just incase you're not sure) gs's are 4 speed automatics.

Definately a 5-speed in the '98 GS. There's two ways to look at it:

1. 5-Speed

2. 4-Speed w/ Overdrive

Either way, there are 5-speeds.

No Doubt , they are [5] speeds or if you want to look at them a different way they are 4 speed automatics with a unisex drive gear [hence the 5th gear] if you want a 4 speed just flip the power switch
