Gloworm
I bought a CPO 2006 Rx400h 3 years ago. The warranty is about to expire in February. It has 82,000 miles on it now. Is it worth it to buy extended warranty or not?

RX400h
I believe all hybrid all components are covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles (150,000 in CA). Consumer reports recommends against buying an extended warranty. Their advice is to put the money where you can access it when needed. Bob Hewitt
Dave, how did you find out about the 150,000 miles in CA components warranty? Did the dealer tell you or is this something you or I would have to ask about? How would one find this info out? Thanks, Bob
The G Man
At 82000 miles, the extended warranty is going to be pretty expensive.

Thanks, Bob Bob, I've been reading about this CA-only extension of the hybrid components warranty for quite a few years now. The best way to verify may be with the CA BAR. Tshirtsbyjeff
As far as Lexus goes it has to be under 50000 miles to get a Lexus Warranty. If you want to let me know what you vin number and exact miles are I can get you a price!
