silvermate Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 to replace just the bulbs. u need to take out a few screws from the side marker houseing and remove that, then go in on the side of the car where u removed the side marker lens. pry down the plastic clip on the wiring harness and pull out the electrical plug. then reach in there and turn the plastic retainer holding the plug in place counter clockwise, after the retainer is removed just pull the bulb straight out and replace. it takes a little time and its a tight fit for your hands , but just be patient and you'll get it. VMF Posted February 25, 2004 Share Posted February 25, 2004 you need H4 type bulbs for the headlights. make sure you got the right one, the youhave to remove the whole headlight assembly to change the light. very unconvenient of lexus but i guess they made it like this so you will go to the dealer even for the bulb replacement:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
