david1walker Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I have a 95 LS400, and was driving down the road today, and was at a constant 50mph, when all of the sudden, my speedometer dropped to zero, then instantaneously went right back to 50....all within half a second. About 10 minutes later, it did it again. There wasn't any hesitation in the motor associated with it. Is my speedo going bad? Anyone? Bueller???
steve2006 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 The speedometer is electronic ( no cable from Transmission to speedometer) the speed sensor is mounted on the transmission so I would have a look at it's wiring 1st as it is subjected to road dirt and water.

Thanks Steve! I'll look it over when I'm changing my oil.
