Greenish Tint On Headlights?

i tried searching for the answer, but found none, was just curious as to why the headlights have that greenish tint to them?

Any idea if your headlights are the original bulbs? Are the low beam and high beams both greenish? I've heard it's recommended to avoid finger contact with the glass on halogen bulbs. Skin oil can leave a residue that will lead to discoloration. Maybe somebody was careless changing out the bulbs.

oh no i dont mean the bulbs themselves, i mean the whole light fixture, it has a greenish tint to it, all of em have it, was just wondering what it was for.

The tint is just for cosmetic purposes. It's added to the chrome.

The 08 Rx400h has a blue tint to the headlights... my old 03 rx300 had the green tint like the GX.

I like the tint, it's very unique- makes the headlight look like glass or crystal (as glass has a similar tint by nature)

You should also notice that the back up light lens has a similar light green tint to them. This is as Lexus designed it to be.
