Parking17 Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I had an autometer digital tach hooked up once, but ended up trashing it after some of the LED banks in the tach went out. I would recommend an analog tach if you want to add one with a shift light. They are pretty neat. I hooked up the 'tach pulse' wire from the gauge to the diagnostic plug underneath the driverside dash to get the signal. I believe it's pin #14. Hope this helps.
