krozinov
I have my car lifted up in the air, with all 4 tires off the ground. Can I start the car to idle it a bit? Will the car sense that it's off the ground and will the airbags deploy? I'm pretty sure it's safe to start the car while it's lifted off the ground, but can someone confirm this? Thanks, Konstantin
SRK
Perfectly safe. Just keep it in park, and apply the parking brake. It's safe to operate the driveline, if precautions are followed, but just the engine - easy.
