Ratatat
had an astrostart installed in the ES300, if unlocked the car starts, if locked it goes into an alarm condition, but if you hit unlock, alarms stops and vehicle starts, if you hit lock then start then it starts, i suppose the 1 minute wait period, but then it wont alarm, if you hit the truck, it alarms, unless you unlock doors first, then no alarms. At this rate the low temp sentinal is useless, because it will alarm. What is going on?
djspawn00
Which model did you have installed? Sounds like you'll probably just need to take a few minutes to program it..

SAMOHT023
http://www.astroflex.com/index.php?module=...=20&page=20 SEEMS TO ME THAT THE FACTORY ALARM ISN'T BEING DISENGAGED WHEN THE REMOTE START SYSTEM ACTIVATES THE IGNITION. THE UNLOCK/FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS AT THE THEFT ECU BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX OR PASSENGER KICK PANEL. IT IS YELLOW/BLUE AND NEGATIVE IN POLARITY. THERE SHOULD BE A WIRE FROM THE REMOTE START MODULE THAT SENDS GROUND TO THE UNLOCK/FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE TO DISARM THE FACTORY ALARM WHEN THE REMOTE START SYSTEM IS ENGAGED. YOUR WIRING WOULD HAVE TO BE INSPECTED BY A TECHNICIAN TO CONFIRM THIS.
