TexasLexus94 Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 There's a lot of posts here about the check engine light coming on after disconnecting the battery-It's a glitch, not a problem. Go to Lexls.com, I believe-he has a great tutorial to fix it. Mine is on-too lazy to fix it until the weather warms up. Not sure about the trac light...Best of luck. John2 Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 the trac light is coming on in response to CEL. you need to get the code pulled for the CEL. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ i had same issue after a whole tune up and timing belt change. it was an O2 sensor. theory is the new plugs/wires/rotor, etc. got that part of car up to spec and the old/lazy orig O2 sensor did not react as needed.
