Tomj8
anyone? Burnt transmission fluid is never a good thing. Don't know why it might be a bad time to flush it, although transmission, brake and power steering flushing has become quite a money maker for oil change shops and dealerships. Don't do any of those flushes unless there is evidence you need to but certainly don't ignore legitimate evidence - like burned tranny fluid. SeanGrac
anyone? What do you mean by "flush" the tranny? And where did you hear that? Other than that; this is your car. Check everything you can and take care it. Don't wait for something to go wrong with it. Do a complete inspection of everything you feel confident about doing. If you hear, see, feel and/or smell something; that's good place to start. Once you get to point were you know everything is good; keep it on a regular PM schedule. So, back to your first question. EVERYTHING!
krazykorean35
thanks guys. i read that flushing the tranny fluid when its at that point is bad on club lexus...guess i shouldnt believe everything i read. only thing that bugs me about the car right now is the low idle (500) and weird shifting from a stop which i think might have to do with the idle. anyone have luck with tweaking the IAC to raise the idle?
