APPLIANCEGUY
hello can anyone give me some advice? i bought a used 93 ls400 and the instument panel light doesn't light up unless it is in direct sunlight all day or been running for a while and even then after about 45 minutes it starts blinking rapidly then goes completely black again. any advice would be appreciated as this is driving me nuts. forsash
I have the same problem. I need to know what parts to replace in circuit board. It seems the problem is in capacitors, which came out cause of long term use (1994-2008).

ronk33_fl
There is a guy named Jim Walker in California who repairs these reasonably. At the very beginning of the forums there is a 190 post, 14 page discussion on this topic. I think his email is thelexpert@yahoo.com. Check to be sure. He will email you complete instructions on how to remove the instrument panel and pack it for shipment to him. I got a 24 hour turnaround and the cost was about $225.
