djspawn00 Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 One headache after another, court, bills, IRS, women, work, and now I get a letter from my internet provider saying that my information is being requested because I've supposedly been downloading copyrighted materials.... but the file they accuse me of having is GTA San Andreas for XBOX... which i never downloaded... i checked every PC on my secure home network and its not on any of them... i can tell this is gonna be another pain... sorry just needed to complain again. Take the rest of the year off amigo and lay low, because either Mr. Murphy has you in his sights for some Murphy's Law action, or you did something bad against Karma and it's coming around the last turn back at you. If they have evidence that you were in process of downloading the 'stolen' material, then it doesn't matter if you have it today or not. Similarly, if you steal a car and sell it, they can still charge you with theft even though you don't actually posses the vehicle. They have the evidence that your IP address was downloading the game. Do you have Wifi? But the other day on vacation I won $100 at a casino, then came home and won $500 at the local casino!
