Lexus F-sport Performance Accessories

Recommended Posts

These are suppose to be available March 2008. Developed by TRD (Toyota Racing Development). My Lexus dealer has no information on them. I e-mailed TRD and they acknowledged they were developing this line, but that was all they could tell me. Does anyone have additional information on availability and the timeline?

Attached at the bottom is the information from Lexus and some really nice accessory pictures. Check out those carbon ceramic brakes, coilovers, carbon fiber engine cover, wheels, etc.

These are designed for the IS250 and IS350, not the IS-F. Finally, Lexus has developed some nice stuff. Now, the cost!!!!

I saw an IS-F at my dealer the other day, even the preproduction model the had to show off was sharp looking. Appears to really be an IS in name only, the car lines and dimensions are slightly different (bigger) then a normal IS 250/350.

I saw alot of this line coming at Carson L-tuned also. But they say the samething, and aren't being very open to info yet. I think the info just isn't available yet.

There's actually quite a bit of info available on this stuff, including pricing for much of it...

Most of it, like most TRD parts, are show parts, not go parts... there's almost nothing that'll add any power to the car (there's an intake that looks like a Joe Z knockoff for 4 times the cost and another exhaust that looks just like the current Lexus/HKS offering that doesn't add much power...and that's about it).

There's a stronger clutch for the IS250 that already doesn't make enough power to stress the existing clutch

There's some potentially decent suspension stuff, that's about as close to real performance parts as this stuff gets (unless you count the carbon ceramic brake kit that'll cost north of $10,000)

Then you've got the bling like the $865 engine cover or the $100 shift knob...

Here's a link with some of the pricing info

the link to the post you have there, the tech even states in the first sentence that these are just preliminary MSRP. But he can't give any more info in order to keep his job. Iv'e seen that post before, but I'm still waiting for the release and real info on that line.

I agree howver I don't think most of it is really performance based stuff. I was curious if the F badged intake was more like the dual stage intake that is used on the ISF or if it is just more like a JoeZ. And I just wanted to compare it to some other stuff also, like the lowering springs and so on.
