Complete Cooling System Flush By Jiffy Lube

Hi,

I posted earlier about topping my coolant reservoir with the green stuff and somebody (I also read elsewhere) said that I should not mix and should do a complete flush and replace with Toyota coolant. I just called Jiffy Lube and they charge $49.99 if I bring my own. What do you guys think?

do it ASAP yourself or not. since non ethilene glycol based fluid will destroy your aluminium radiator. if you dont want to do it urself then its a pretty good deal. there is nothing technical in the procedure but they chartge 50$ for this everywhere.

I was thinking of doing it myself with a backflush kit but the main thing is it is too darn cold in the Twin Cities right now !

I personally wouldn't pay $50 for that. It's a simple procedure. Perhaps the most difficult part is finding the proper place to dispose of the coolant. You do not want to dump it on the street.
