Washer Fluid Is Full.

I received a message from my instrument cluster that the washer fluid is low. However, the resevoir is full. How do I clear the message?

This occured to me on a couple of occasions after driving through a few dips in the road. I opened the hood and tapped on the fluid washer fluid resevoir a few times, and and he light goes off on the dash. I'm guessing that there are some bubbles on the sensor and tapping on the resevior fixes the problem.

I imagine the dealer would love to charge an hour or two for this minor problem.
