Muwka Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 I have a 2006 GS300. when i go to menu, i get an onscreen button for map dvd. when i press that i get 'data ver 5.1' and another onscreen button to eject the map dvd. when i press that, i get a message that the dvd is not loaded. I have assumed all along that the dvd was in the multi disc changer in the dash. Am thinking i somehow never got the dvd from the dealer. the system was loaded and ready to go when i picked up the car and never thought to look for the dvd until now. The system has the override capability discussed in other threads and works fine (how can that be if the dvd isn't loaded?) I would have thought the dvd needed to be loaded at all times for the system to function properly but perhaps not. Am i missing something? wouldn't the dvd be in the dash disc changer?
