2000 Ls400 Replace Main 60a Fuse

I have blown my 60A main fuse. I have ordered a new one from Lexus. How do I remove and replace the blown fuse? It looks like it is screwed in but how do I reach the screw?

Is it on the side of the engine compartment fuse box?

If so those main fuses are stuck in there rock hard and take a pair of pliers to get them out with some pb blaster.

Pop the glass cover off and pull real hard.

Hi,

Do you know why the fuse has blown because I would want to know before replacing it, check for a short circuit before putting in the fuse and I would also disconnect the battery before fitting in case it does go again whilst fitting as it would be very hot as it blows and so would your fingers.
