$460 For 15k Mile Service?

I have an '06 ES330. My dealer wants $460 for the 15k mile service and says that it takes about 3 hours to do it. According to the manual, the 15k mile maintenance includes oil change, tire rotation, and a bunch of "inspections."

My questions are: (1) Why does it take 3 hours to do it?, and (2) Is it worth $460 ?

Yep an expensive oil change, get it done at the Toyota Dealership for $29 and your warranty is covered....

If I get the same service at an independent service center, will my warranty be void???

Make sure they give you receipt for 15K service.

And make sure they do everything called for in the service manual its more than just an oil change.

my toyo and lexus are the same $$$$$. It is overpriced either place since all they do is Check 90% of the stuff. In my eyes, most is not needed, a huge money maker.
