Black Sapphire Pearl Or Obsidian

For those in the know, what's the difference? I want a black LS460 and would like to know a descriptive difference. Thanks.

Obsidian is what we recognize as Black. Black sappire pearl is a dark metallic Blue.

Obsidian is volcanic glass which comes in a variety of colors/shades and sometimes has clear and almost rainbow appearance in the right light. I collect hand knapped obsidian knives/tools. They say it can be made sharper than a scalpel by 10 fold. I beleive it is just a name that is very catchy and that is why lexus chose it.

Obsidian would be my choice.
