Where is the cabin air filter on a '94 LS400?

Not so sure '94 had them but if it's there it's behind the removeable panel at the top of the inside of the glove box.

Yes, the 94 has a cabin air filter. However, I think it is accessed differently from the manner wwest mentioned. I believe the location he mentioned was used in later years.

My LS is a 93 model. The filter is accessed by removing the lower panel of the dash on the passenger side. This is held in place by about three clips (which are easily broken, so be careful). When this is removed, you will see a plastic compartment which has two screws at the bottom. Removing these screws will enable you to take off the bottom of this compartment. You can then see the lower of the two filters. Pull the lower one out, and the top one should drop down where it can be removed. The filters bend in the middle which allows you to slide them into place and remove them when needed.

don't believe the hype there most certainly is, I replaced mine today. Romve panel under glove box then 2 wing nuts and pull down on filter holder, when it gets close to the floor it bends. New ones come in set of 2 for 50 bucks.. ahh smealls good now!

Thanks for the info!
