Unknown Light

I own a 2001 IS 300 that i just bought a few weeks ago. and i now have a little light that comes up. it shows the car and a bunch of little lines comming from the back of it... it only comes on when i push the brake.. but it dosnt go away after i push it... can some one help me. i dont want to go changing brakes if i dont need to.

Check your brake lights. It should meam you have one out.

this should be covered in the onwers manual.

If you don't have one, you can go to www.Lexus.com and register as an owner. You will then be able to request a free owners manual and supplemantal serive manual for free.

Also, at the top of this forum are some pinned threads. One of them is a link to the 2002 Owners manual which may be very close to yours. They are downloadable PDF files.

a bulb is out in ur rear

If you see that all the brake lights are ok, then check the center stop light if it came with it. if that light is burned out it will activate the little light.
