dasgeek Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 My nav computer failed the other day. I have tried eveything to save it. I removed it, took it apart, cleaned the lens with no result. I have contacted Lexus and they want $1800 for a remanufactured replacment. They want over $3000 for a new one. I think that this is insulting. There are good nav units on the market for a fraction of the price. I know it does not cost Denso (the nav maker) this much to repair a bad unit. Toyota should pressure Denso to repair these at a lower cost. Does anyone know a source for a replacement unit at a lower cost? (Yes I have already checked Ebay.)
