Ain't that the truth. Grandpa's 15" low performance tires and rims are going into storage next week. Hehehe...

W6RU - I ordered the MB Design Link. They're on their way up here from Arizona. I'm putting on 18" Kumho Supra Ecsta 712's, 245 - 40 or 45 series ZR rated ( should actually look into VR rated for more tread life). All Kumho tires come with a 30K warranty. There are no warranties like that with the others at this size.

It depends on the gap between the top of the tire and the wheel well on what series (40 or 45, etc..) of tires I'll use. I can't stand the 4X4 look (big gap from top of rubber to well) on cars when they use the wrong applications. Discount carries all Kumho tires in stock so I can have a tire put on and look at it on the car and decide which one I want. I want to go wider as well if possible. Discount Tires is great. I won't buy my tires or rims anywhere else.

Lexusing - Thanks. :D

Sebastor, can you do the same thing in Photoshop with the rims (below) that I'm buying on a solid black gen 1 LS400? Those 18" neeper haaz wheels will look GREAT on your car! Did you buy them already? You should...

Greetings from Discount Tire Direct.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The MB Design wheels do not have a Website that is dedicated

to them. Basically, the MB logo is a creation of Discount Tire

and the wheels are built by several major manufacturers. The

MB Design Link wheels are built by Liquid Metal Motorsports,

which should have a Website available soon.

If we can be of further assistance, please reply to this e-mail

or contact us by either of the following methods.

Discount Tire is the official USA distributor for the following

wheels: MB Motoring wheels, MB Design wheels, Fittipaldi wheels,

ATS wheels, Voxx wheels, G-Games, Fondmetal, X-wheels, some Konig,

some Enkei, some B Coddington, some Centerline, and some 5Zigen

wheels.

The MB Design wheels have a 1 year warranty for the finish and

a lifetime warranty for manufacturers defects. The wheels are

not covered for any Road Hazard damage. Chrome wheels are not

recommended for use in Winter conditions, as the salt will deteriorate

the finish.

That's cool. Liquid Metal makes really nice truck/SUV rims. Great quality and a lifetime warranty from Discount to be free of defects. I talked my local store and my wheels will be here Thursday....Can't wait... :magic:
