TRIMENT
I JUST BOUGHT A 99 GS 400 AND IT CAME WITH THE NORMAL GREEN/YELLOWISH ANTIFREEZE MIX. I THOUGHT THAT THESE CARS CAME WITH THE EXTENDED DRAIN TYPE RED TOYOTA ANTIFREEZE AND IF IT WAS MIXED WITH THE REGULAR GREEN ONE IT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE WHEN THE TWO WERE MIXED IT BECAME AN ACID AND TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS YOU WOULD HAVE TO FLUSH BEFORE CHANGING OVER FROM ONE TO THE OTHER. IF ANYONE KNOWS PLEASE INFORM ME.
SKperformance
this topic has been hotly debated i say red never green as from what i learned in school saying it was not compatibale with some seals and aluminum it is longer life also drain the system and fluash it real good tehn replace with the proper dex-cool red coolant

JDOwen2
I've heard bad things about extended life coolant. Go to corvetteforum and do a search on coolant. I'd stick with the green.
