Cherokee_Outlaw
Last night... I picked up a friend that had a little 2 much to drink... Taking her home she was trying to tie her shoes... and put her shoes up on the dash... This morning... it looks like the dash was scratch up with a wire brush.... The marks are not into the dash.. but rather they look like the rubber from the shoes marked up the dash.. Any tips on removing this? LexKid630
Bug & Tar Remover, then use a Vinyl conditioner. I use it all the time. :)

The dash is so "soft" I would think it would melt it! What conditioner would you use?
LexKid630
Nope it doesn't melt or destroy anything... I use Armor All Original (for plastic and vinyl) to keep the vinyl from cracking. I use the Turtle Wax Bug & Tar and tree sap remover to get the scuff marks off the vinyl & dash.
SW03ES
Don't use bug and tar remover, it has way too many solvents for something like this. Armor All is also not really neccisary to prevent the dash from cracking, modern dash materials have so many UV inhibitors built in as does the glass that its not really neccisary anymore. I personally also prefer the stock matte finish of the dash material. I'd try a product like 1Z Plastik Reiniger: http://www.pakshak.com/1z-plastic-vinyl-cleaner-500ml.html You can also pick up a good product from your local PepBoys like store from Meguiars called "Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer" for in between cleanings. You may want to be prepared though for some of the marks not to come out. The dash material does scar easily.
GoldenStateSilverSport
Nope it doesn't melt or destroy anything... I use Armor All Original (for plastic and vinyl) to keep the vinyl from cracking. I use the Turtle Wax Bug & Tar and tree sap remover to get the scuff marks off the vinyl & dash. I used the bug/tar remover on the top of my cup holder between the driver/passenger seats. I have some scuff marks there. The bug/tar remover is too strong to apply to the vinyl, it destroys the surface. I regret doing this as now the surface of the cup holder cover does not feel soft as before. I added some conditioner to the surface to help restore it which helped a little, but I can still tell the surface is screwed.
JasonATL
My old standby is Woolite for the interior. I use it to get scuff marks off of the door surround and it is very effective. I think it should be gentle. If you have some around the house already, you might try it. Be sure to dilute it about 10/1. Again, I'm not saying that the prior advice is wrong or won't work. I'm just suggesting that you give it a shot if you already have it.
