Lexusfreak Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Some pics from the 2006 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto .....I hope you enjoy. B) I thought I would start off with Lexus of course... (GS 450h) And now some other vehicles..... The new Camaro is nice! And more... Probably the replacement for my ES around 2008...once 'little one's' arrive... I can't tell you how good the Subaru full time AWD system is.....simply awesome! B) :D I'd get the top model H6 VDC. And finally, the new Camry...
Rx330driver Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 id have to say the best car on there was probably the LS or the new S class *drool*, lol. San Francisco's auto show sucks, did get to see any of those models. #%$# lol
ImranS Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 The ES looks a lot better in person just like most lexus' do.
indiasfinest Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 the new camry looks like a honda, especially the rims
Aija Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Im curious as to how the refresh on the RX350 is going to look.
Lexusfreak Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Im curious as to how the refresh on the RX350 is going to look. It looked the same to me, that's why I didn't take any pics of it. B)
SW03ES Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Yeah I don't think there are any exterior styling changes to the RX350. What did you think of the new ES in person LF? You know what is REALLY growing on me? The new IS. Beautiful lines on that car.

You know what is REALLY growing on me? The new IS. Beautiful lines on that car. I was quite disappointed with the new ES in person actually sw......was much too close to the Camry for my liking. :( I looked at the car up close & personal for a good 20+ minutes (from all angles) & it wasen't growing on me at all.....don't know why. I went & sat in the current generation (2006) they had there as well & for whatever reason I liked it much better as did my wife (although I will wait until I can sit in one & drive it at my local dealer when the time comes this spring). My wife & I also sat in the IS 350 too......very nice car, but I felt a tad claustraphobic because of the small cabin (seats were all the way back & low to boot). I know that's not the ride for me as the inside is quite a bit smaller than my ES.
SW03ES Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Hmm, I'll have to see one in person when I can. I think I'll wind up hanging on to mine until I can afford a new LS. As for the IS, its way too small for me too, but the styling is really well done.

B) One car I was most impressed with in person (but will never own personally...but love the styling) is the new Camaro. Wow that thing was REEEEEEEDDDDD! lol B)
nc211 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I remember hearing many many many moons ago that they were making a new Smokey & The Bandit movie with Matthew McConaughy as the Bandit. But they were going to wait for the release of the movie until they had the new TransAm ready to be released to the public. Anyone know when they'll have a new T/A ready to go? I'd LOVE to see that movie, I'd bet McConaughy would be an awsome Bandit! 10-4 Good Buddy..
