Swivel neck Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Is the ES300 wiper suppose to retract under the hood when turned off. If I align the wiper arms to go below the lip of the hood, the wiper does not clear off about 5 inches of the windshield at the furthest up movement. chajones Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 I believe that model year ES300 had two settings for the wipers: a winter setting and a summer setting. The winter setting does not park the wipers all the way so the wipers do not freeze up. I don't remember how to change the settings, but I believe it is done under the hood.
