I just changed the front and rear brakes on my 98 gs400, after changing them I notice that my brake pedal goes almost to the floor to stop....should I bleed the calipars? and if so is this the same as any other car????

Yes you need to bleed the brakes, I'm asssuming you opened the bleed screws, you should also change the fluid as well DOT4 Synthetic. <_<

Right SK.

The first brake application after replacing brake pads will go pretty low because you are pushing out the piston again.

Press the brake pedal a few times before you judge.

I would guess you got air in the system then.

BTW did you lube the cailper pistons and sliders before installing the new pads? As well as adding anti squeel?

Don't forget the shim kit as well <_<
