Hi,

I'm a little bit of a purist and don't like making modificatiosn

to listen to my I-Pod through the RX sound system (Nakamichi

I think) , but is there anyway that I can connect the I-Pod to

the 2000 RX stereo system without changing the look of the

interior of the vehicle (though the glovebox CD changer perhaps?)

Has anyone done this before?

Any input woudl help thanks!

does yours have a tape deck? you could use one of those car-ready thingys and pop it in your tape deck and connect the other end to your ipod instead of a cd player. will work with a lot better quality than those staticy itrip or similiar devices

You also might check out Make magazine - a mag that helps people modify things in non-conventional ways. The current issue has an iPod integration in it, I think, and I know they have some electronic car mods in it.

I found iCarPlay Wireless FM to be the best solution so far. This will charge the ipod and has a FM transmitter.

the downside is wireless FM has really bad sound quality. and its pretty annoying trying to change the frequency in a city where the airwaves are congested.
