What's Wrong With This Picture? Anything

Hi all

I'm considering purchasing this car but I'm wondering if there something wrong with this picture or is the hood just not closed? The autocheck shows no wrecks/damage but something doesn't look right here. What do you think?

the liscense plate is split in half? lol idk i think it looks like that because of the angle at which this pic was taken

proabbly took an engine shot just before this and didnt close the hood. There are vin tags on the inside of the hood and fenders to identify they are original. If you are buying this long distance, ask him to photograph those.

Was this GS in an accident of any kind? If not i wouldn't worry too much.

I looked on my GS but it's hard to tell because mine is blue and that's silver. The space b/t the hood and bumper seems darker with the silver contrast.

I spoke to the seller and asked him to walk to the car and make sure it was latched. He said it was. I asked him about the gap and he also noticed it. He said he thought that it was something that could be adjusted. I suspect the car has been wrecked and that he just doesn't know it or that he knows and is trying to sell it to some unsuspecting buyer. I'm leaning towards the latter - somebody who's been in the car sales for much time should probably become familiar with these types of things.
