sergey Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Hi, I own a 2000 Lexus ES 300. I have no problems with driving, but if I’m turning the headlight on - the “R”(reverse) indicator light came on and stays. Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks.
mehullica Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Sounds like electrical feedback into the combo meter due to a possible broken wire along the trunk hinge taillight harness. Cut open the harness around the area that the wires flex when the trunk opens/closes.
SKperformance Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 I agree the easiest way to start is probably remove the bulbs one by one to try and isolate a cuircit if you are not sure what i mean you probably need a pro to tackle it.
