Hi,

I own a 2000 Lexus ES 300. I have no problems with driving, but if I’m turning the headlight on - the “R”(reverse) indicator light came on and stays.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks.

Sounds like electrical feedback into the combo meter due to a possible broken wire along the trunk hinge taillight harness. Cut open the harness around the area that the wires flex when the trunk opens/closes.

I agree

the easiest way to start is probably remove the bulbs one by one to try and isolate a cuircit if you are not sure what i mean you probably need a pro to tackle it.
