dickholy Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 All the models ever made by Lexus and the year? Because I am going to purchase my 2nd Lexus!
dickholy Posted May 11, 2005 Author Posted May 11, 2005 GS300 might be my next choice?! Anyone has any comment?
Lexusfreak Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 All Lexus models are rated quite high. My biased guess is the ES, GS & naturally the LS. B)
camlex Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 As he mentioned "All Lexus models are rated quite high." Then, goes with your luck.....
Lexusfreak Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 If your buying used, get ALL service & maintenance records & make sure they are up to date. After that, it's condition, condition, condition! B)
melhadri Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 All Lexus models are built with great quality. All you have to do is choose the model that best fits your needs...
LexKid630 Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 I wouldn't get the rx300. I had bad luck with my 99 and 03. Ls is your best bet. es too
dickholy Posted May 11, 2005 Author Posted May 11, 2005 i want to spend around 8k for a 98 or later GS300. Is that possible?
vcv10guy Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 That's rather low for a 1998 GS300 unless you find one that has a salvage title or in lousy condition. Maybe at least $15k for one that it's in good condition but with rather high miles.
Lexusfreak Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Agreed! You might pick up a 97 ES for around that price, but I doubt a GS. B)
SW03ES Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Which Lexus has the best mechanical quality? The LS no question.
branshew Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 I'm going to nominate the LS as well. Although comparatively all Lexus vehicles pack a good bang for the buck when compared to their German counterparts
yaj786 Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 I was looking at the consumer report for cars and it said that the most reliable used car was a 01 LS...
Lexusfreak Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 Let's put it this way......I don't know of a vehicle with a better reliability record than the LS........if any vehicles are close.......it will be in the Toyota & Lexus stable however....Camry, Corolla, ES come to mind but the LS would be on the very top for sure! B)
