exdotcomer Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 windshield was replaced, but these clowns let some of the black silicone? (goo) land on a part of the roof.there are like 2-3 little chunks that can't be removed after 3 washes. any ideas?
cruznroadking Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Try an adhesive remover. I believe 3M makes it. You can find it most parts stores or auto paint supply stores.
SKperformance Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 It is ureathane and will dry very hard soon. It is annoying to remove they should have a good remover homedepot should have a good ureathane remover
SW03ES Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Be very careful using a urethane remover from Home Depot, the paint on the car is urethane also. I'd start with something like 3M's Adhesive Remover as was already suggested/.

deadmilenko Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I would take it back to them and tell them they need to pay for it to be removed by the dealer. So it is done right and the paint doesn’t get damaged. It is their screw up make them pay for it to get fixed. but take pictures first before you take it to get fixed. Just incase
